This Computer Literacy interested me for two reasons. First, because of my desire to be able to get around and know what I am doing. Also, to know what programs to use with certain projects. Second because I want to become a photographer and to be comfortable in the computer world will help me a lot in learning how to Photoshop and to how to use other photographic techniques.

One of my interests, of course, lies in taking pictures and editing them. From this hobby my second hobby comes into play, scrap-booking. I really enjoy taking my pictures and creating a page of memories that is colorful and reveals the fun that was experienced in that event. I enjoy the challenge it is for me to really show the pictures in their best way so has to get across the mood of the incident. I also enjoy reading and writing letters to friends. Books where the author can really paint a picture for you are the most enjoyable to read. They help me to learn how to describe my emotions and surroundings to my pen-pals so that they can understand with little difficulty.

For any one who is interested in these great hobbies then I would suggest a few web sites that I enjoy. Photography.com. is a great site if photography is your passion or you want it to be. They have videos for you to watch on things like what lens to use on butterflies and insects and the impotence of lighting. They have galleries for you to view and information for cameras. A website that I really enjoy using is Blogspot.com. For me this site is like journalism and scrap-booking at the same time. If you want a more variety on your backgrounds then go to Thecutestblogsontheblock.com were you can find a lot of material in making your blog the cutest ever.

Treat others as you want to be treated is wonderful advice not only in netiquette but in Dailey life. I think that this guideline encompasses all the others and if followed will help anyone communicate with others online. My belief is that everyone wants to be respected and treated with dignity and by treating others like you want to be treated, you will hopefully succeeded in corresponding with as little misunderstanding as possible.

Though I have firmly stated which netiquette 5 I think is the most valuable, “take ten-then send” is a great habit to own and which many people don’t think to try to obtain.

When you use online communication you have the great benefit of being able to think before and after you type and before you send. I have seen many times when people get into a discussion online that they are very passionate about and they come off as abrasive and angry. They forget that those who are reading can not hear their tone or see the expression on their face. The other participants get defensive and reply with heated words and the whole conversation goes down hill from there with every body accusing every one else of being rude. So one should takes advantage of being able to review any messages that they create, just so they can make sure that you are treating that particular person properly and kindly. If we all do that we will be a happier online community.

Dear Mr. Barker

I am a want-a-be cowgirl. I have ridden a horse only twice so I may not be getting to far. I enjoy reading Louise L’amur and other “West” stories. The reason that I chose Ranches for my topic was, I suppose, because of my interest and curiosity in there history, how they work and just the thrill of beautiful land, cattle and cowboys.

Ranches

I wanted to make little links where you could them click and be brought to the documents but I couldn't figure our how to do that. Maybe you will have better luck.

I always sigh as I looked at the open land around me through a camera lens. No matter when I press the button, whether it’s pointed at a planned out scene or I point it at a random hill side, I capture a moment in time and it is know sitting with in my hands. I have found that being a rancher and photographer combine beautifully. With one hand I hold my camera and with the other the rein of my horse. Though I hold these instruments apart from each other they are shared in my mind. I turn my horse away from the west towards a bush that I know house the quail of our country. I keep my horse moving to startle the birds but hold my camera in position. “Click” I get a shot of them in mid flight, their wings spread wide, flying into the sun setting over the Wyoming range.

As I sit at home at night looking at the flashes from the past of that day, I choose which pictures that will be ideal for the articles that I write monthly for the “Wyoming Wildlife” and “Ranger Rick” magazines.

The camera thrills me, knowing that I know longer have to think that once a moment in time is gone I can no longer go back. As Rancher and Photographer I reside with the land and capture it at the same time.

(1#) To achieve this dream and ambition I will need the help of many people.

Teachers, Ranchers, Mentors and Friends are the crucial people who will help me to succeed in my dreams

(2#)I will have to make many choices including do a lot of hard work, finding a motivation that will keep me driving at that target with a positive attitude even when things are difficult.

I will need to go to a Photograph school

Voluntary at horse stables and other ranch incorporated sites.

(3#)There are always difficulties in reaching a goal, those that you plan for and ones that are unseen.

Things don’t always take shape as you planned.

You might not get in the class you want.

Not being accepted to a certain school.

Not aloud to volunteer because of some random reason.

Design Time_Before_and_After.

I just wanted to show you the pictures. You both know what the whole assignment consists of.
