So today we cleaned house.

We cleaned up the schoolroom today, and moved around the table and foosball game. So, now we are almost finished and we are taking a break. Today everyone at the table had cheetos (besides me) but I just have to hope that there will be some tomorrow!
Giving up food in between meals is hard, especially if you dont like what the meals are. Have fun starving:)

I totally agree with you!!

Lent is hard!!

One of the things that I gave up was eating between meals, basically snacks.... REALLY hard!! It doesn't make it any easier when I am trying to not fill my self at the times that I can eat! I am not even technically fasting today and I am hungry! We are probably not going to eat for another 2 and a-half hours!! But that is the whole point of lent.. offering up all these difficulties for our growth in holiness.

May God continue to give us the grace to follow his will and to stick to our Lenten sacrifices.

Lent is very challenging!

So Lent is very, very hard. As you know, I gave up candy, soda and any other form of junk food, even goldfish crackers (which I love).

This morning, Grandma and Grandpa walked in with giant glazed muffins for us to eat. I just leaned against the counter and smelled them and tempted myself to eat one, but didn't. They smelled sooooo good! It's just like Father Scott said: "You might not ever drink soda all year long, but the minute you give it up, you want it more then anything". This rule applies to muffins too. However I am going to stick to my lent resolution, and be strong in God! (And spit in satans face)

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!!

I had so much fun with you girls this last weekend. It went by so fast. I can't wait tell my birthday and when school gets out. I hope that you will be able to come down and we can all go to the beach and have so much fun!!!

I emailed Elizabeth and she said that she had a blast at your party, so my guess is that everyone else did too. Why wouldn't they ?? :)


I love you both and hope that I can come up in March so I can see Gryphons play... I still have to tell mom about that and then slowly break her and dad into the idea. I am pretty positive that Mr. Onsurez will be able to take me down... he seems not to mind driving me back and forth from work to his house. :)
