My amazing softball experience

Hey guys! Sorry it's been soooooo long! Anyways, I am going to tell you about my amazing Monday night:

So there I was, out on the field, the sun, beating down on my shoulders and trying to blind me. All around me, my team-mates had there eyes on the batter, so I looked at the batter too. At the Rover's position, I stood in the heat, praying to God to help me catch the ball if it came towards me, but not to give me any unfair advantage, just give me courage and strength. With only 1 out and a person on 1st, we looked to be in danger of allowing the other team a few points.
The pitcher looked around, meeting everyone's eyes, to make sure we were all paying attention. We were. Then he turned back and pitched the ball.
Freely, it sailed through the air, and straight towards home base. The batter prepared, and swung. A moderate smack was heard as the bat connected with the ball, and launched it towards me. Gracefully, I stuck me glove into the air, and caught it! Then I crossed 2nd base, and pitched the ball to 1st, getting both outs and ending the game, 27 to 11, our favor. Everyone politely told me I did well, and I politely told them "thank you very much", and that's how the amazing game went.

Not really.

What REALLY happened is this:

Last inning
Me at Rover
1/3 outs
1 guy on first
1 guy batting

Guy batting smacks the ball straight to me, fast and high, I catch it, run over second, throw to first (getting both outs) everyone stares at me for a second like 'is this really happening. Did Morgan actually do something good, or do my eyes deceive me?' Then they errupted into cheers and ran over to me, and high fives went all around, and some hugs and lots of congratulations, and everyone going "Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! Woo, you did it!" and me going "I know, I can't believe it either! I finally did something good!"

it was awesome. To put it simply.

And then I had to tell everyone at youth and they all thought it was cool:) And they were happy too:)

Love
Moi
