So guess what I bought?!?!?!

I just wanted to inform you about my latest purchase at Maurices.

Actually, I'll try to post pictures:)
1. Military Jacket2. Beret. (This isn't exactly like it, but it was the closest picture I could find.)

A skirt. (This is very similar except for mine is a lot lighter brown and there isn't lace on the bottom of mine. I bought it cause it was originally $24 on sale for $6)

Isn't that cool? And you wanna hear the best part?

Remember the striped shirt with the strings on the sides that I wore to El Capitan? Yeah, that plus all these only cost me $2.70 cause my neighbor gave us those gift cards. Pretty sweet if you ask me:)

The big down side is that I'm completely broke:( So no more shopping for me, 'til I get some money...

Love you guys

Moi:)

P.S. I think I might be plagiarizing by posting these pictures, but I'm not sure if I am or not. So if I am...sorry!

Just a heads up!

Hey girls!   I am at Colleens house right now so am unable to post any pictures from our camping trip.

Our Annual El Capitan camping/beach trip was AMAZiNG  like it is usually.  Getting there on Sunday and leaving on Thursday we had a marvelous five days.  The camping was great the beach awesome, the games fun, and the company amazing.  I loved hanging out with my blog sisters taking pictures with them and just talking  ..oh... and fishing.    I had a marvelous time playing Frisbee on the beach  ( I love that game,... and I am getting better) with mom and Christopher, I also played Frisbee with Hannah and Zachary.  I got a better tan than I had before going camping so thats good.    I took some great pictures that will go nicely in my portfolio folder (on the computer).   Seeing the dolphins and seals in the ocean was so fun!  The dolphins and seals both came so close to the shore,  So Close in fact that my older brother Christopher was in the middle of the pod of seals!  On Thursday we went down to the beach for the last time (we were leaving that afternoon) I played Frisbee with mom and Christopher then went to take a breather.  All the while that we were down there we were watching a pod of seals and a flock of birds (seagulls and pelicans mostly)that were going up and down the cost obvisouly following a school of fish.  Once in a while a few dolphins would appear.  At one point the seals and dolphins were in really close but farther down the coast then were Christopher was.   The pod and flock would come in then go out leave and then come back.   Christopher was a good ways out there when the seals made another appearance far a way but pretty close.  Well I guess the fish made a dart towards the cost and little south because the seals just started coming towards Chistopher. Those things can move fast and in no time they were around Christopher jumping and diving. He was in the middle of their pod.  One big seal jumped right behind him, almost over him.  He said that he saw them beneath him and that one touched his leg.  He told us that it was "kinda nerve racking" and that he had his legs curled up to his boogie board.   It was amazing to watch.   By watching the pod of seals all those four days especially being on the beach I can see why long ago when people weren't so used to things being able to be explained that people thought that there were monsters out in the ocean. The pod of seals looks as in a monster or two was out there going in and out of the water.  The seals jumping out of the water and back in, twenty out of the water at once and more under the water, often looks like a sea creature.
So we had our excitement this year and look forward to what lay ahead next year.
I will be home tomorrow afternoon and have that evening (if even that ) to rest up for the next week... moving completely into the new house.  On Monday Mrs. Risvold and Zachary are coming up for the day to help us with stuff that needs to be done. Zachary is staying at our house until Thursday when James has a orthodontist appointmen. On Monday I will hopefully start the process of painting my room.  Mom already has gotten fun accessorys for Anne C. and my bedroom.
I hope that you girls can come and see my house soon. I know that with school starting that probably wont happen but one can always hope and pray.
I love you girls so much
God bless you

P.S.   The internet at my house isn't working so don't get mad if I don't email you back.  Maybe I can go to the libary on Tuesday if it still isn't working.

Just plain cool.

*Guin*
oh that video is so cool!

Embrace Life - always wear your seat belt

"This is the new "wear your seatbelt" ad the UK is doing - started by some guy not hired to do it, but because the cause is important to him, he came up with this idea, and now it's being hailed across the world as a beautiful commercial ...And now the video has become so popular with the general public that people are forwarding it to friends/family on their own so quickly that it has spread all over the world in a very short time."

This is an amazing video! I watched it three times and wanted to watch it more. I wanted to start crying at the end. I think it's because of the love that you see on their faces.
I hoped you enjoyed.

whatever zephyr, sorry shes just beating me down for not posting, but i still read it:/ anyways i'm so excited we're gonna see Guin in what? 2 days? well less then that even! ahhhhhh can't wait<3

Glad to know that your listening :)

That would be a great idea Zephyr!
Do you have a camera that you are bringing to El Capitan?
Dad is outside packing up the car for camping right now. I am all finished packing (unless I think of something else to bring... I think that is pretty impossible since I am already two bags and have the majority of the rest of my stuff in boxes)

Anne C., Mom and I have been talking about the colors that we are going to paint our room. The colors we are using are Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Pink. We are trying to figure out were each color will be and what designs and decoration will look great. I am so excited about my new room because I have never had a 'cool' painted room. Another thing that will be fun is that we have the bed covers that will match the paint job.. actually the pain job will match the bed covers.
I would take a picture of my outline for the paint colors but my camera is already packed in a bag that will not close again if I open it now. :s

Well that's about it for now.. EXCEPT... My Bracelet fell off... my band.. whatever you want to call it. IT is GONE. I don't even know when if fell off. I looked down at my wrist today after coming home from mass and was like "It's gone" And mom said "Hey I didn't notice it yesterday either" So basically I was walking around yesterday and maybe even father in the past and didn't even know that I had lost my pride and joy.. :( No more contest. Gee Wiz... what are they making these things out off. My wrist band from Magic Mountain was paper and it lasted 6MONTHS. This lasted like what. ..? 3weeks. Lousy. Well. I guess that makes me the one man out. What about you girls... do you still have yours on?
I guess you can tell everyone at youth group that I am out.
Well... I guess thats it for now... unless I think of something else to say.

I don't have anything at the moment.

I love you so much girls.
God bless you

Just so you know, I do read the blog daily:)

I know I haven't said anything in a while on here, but I DO read it everyday. I think it would be cool if each of us posted something about the camping trip after we get back, and included pictures and stuff.

Love you both so so so much!!!

Getting off with a busy start

So with Moving and Camping moving up on me like a tsunami I find myself ... not knowing what to say.
I still feel unable to untangle the knot that somehow has taken up residence in that place where my mind is supposed to be. But it is getting better, either my mind is going back to normal or I am just adjusting.
This Camping Trip is going to be amazing! I hope that everyone is full of the Holy Spirit and open to his movement. I think that so often people forget that the Holy Spirit can move outside of the church, outside that environment of church friends (which is all amazing) I forget that the Holy Spirit moves in ALL aspects of our life and that he uses all sorts of experiences, events, circumstance and people to teach us... it is up to us to listen to our teacher and learn the lessons. I have been thinking lately that everyone has a lesson to teach to somebody and that we all need lessons to be taught to to us, whether by our best friends, the homeless guy on the corner, the cashier at Wal*Mart, our siblings, the guys at church or our own parents. It is is my firm belief that lessons are a lot easier to teach than to learn. It often takes humility to learn a lesson and I personally don't have it and don't see much of it around in our present culture. It is so hard to form and cultivate any virtue that our society discourages or just plains ignores. It is so wonderful to have support in your life especially in our Catholic faith. With family and friends to love you and help you up when you fall it is easier to pursue your vocation, given to you by Christ, not because it becomes easier but because you have more examples of love and hope all around you that reflect the love that Christ, our God and Father, has for us and it makes worth while. We see that the pain isn't for nothing.. that there is a purpose to everything that God asks us to go through.
HOPE. Lord.. help me to never lose hope. LOVE. Lord... let me love as you love.

FAITH. Lord... Give me that faith as small as the muster seed that I may please you.

God bless all!!

Stuebenville was GREAT

Has my title says... Steubenville, San Diego was GREAT. Steubenville San Diego is a catholic conference put on by the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio.

Established in 1976.

Serving over 36,000 youth and their leaders each year.

19 conferences across the United States and Canada.

It is an amazing time of coming to know Christ in a more intimate way and therefore understanding more about oneself. , which is very helpful in all stages of life. It is a time of fellowship with others from your community who share similar desire to know what "this is all about" meaning their Catholic Faith and their Lives.
Most everyone's highlight from over the weekend is Adoration on Saturday night. This Year my Highlight ... my thrill.. was seeing my sister Clara who is a Sister in the order of The Trinitarians of May. The Order is there every year helping with preparing for mass, feeding people. They have a booth in the bookshop and they have the Adoration Chapel which is open all through the Week end.
I can't explain in detail all about Steubenville because it would take forever and I will be playing "Rummy" with my little sister after she is done with cleaning the kitchen (the card game "Rummy"). I really encourage you to look into going to Steubenville San Diego or any other conferences that Steubenville puts on through the country, either with your youth group or your family. God to this web sight to see where the Conferences are being held →http://www.franciscanyouth.com/

After Steubenville I stayed in Porterville until Friday. I went to Youth Group on Wednesday and then to a FOP/Benediction (FOP=Festival Of Praise) on Thursday which had dinner and games outside afterward. I played Frisbee (which I happened to do really well that night with) and others played Volley Ball.
I love it in Porterville. I never want to leave my friends.. that are family. I love everyone there so much. I of course want to come home to my family. I love being home but I am now torn.. I feel as if I have two homes. Both Beautiful ...but one being more comfortable and at ease.. the other being simply the place that God wants me to be.
Well... I need to go.

God bless you all
