Its been a long time.

Last day of September! It has always been my favorite month of the year. I was looking at your facebook pages.  I really miss you.
I am starting to feel the effects of not going camping with our group. Oh my goodness.. we never got that bonding time. I mean I saw you this summer but for like a weekend or with other groups of people around but we never had that time... you know what I am talking about.  The pictures we took on the beach last year were amazing.
We were all busy this summer and the business continues into the fall.  You guys are going to school and I am teaching school.
My brother is engaged and his wedding is in November... not to mention that it will be in Virginia. I am planning on going and am excited about his wedding, the new state I will be visiting and the plane ride.... but tickets might be $400, giving up a big chunk of money like that all at once makes me cringe.  But I am thankful that I have the money to give up because if I didn't... I obviously wouldn't be able to go.

I have to go. People are wanting food and we have to go into town today for choir and shopping and other things.
I love you both so much

God bless you

second day of college:)
life has been SO busy and i’ve been wanting to post, but i just haven’t had the chance. i started school, college, today’s the second day of class. i just got back and it went pretty well. they haven’t really given us any assignments cause we just started so they have just given us pages we’re supposed to read. and i don’t have my books yet, they should be in by monday*crossing fingers*. the only “exciting” thing i can really say happened today is i got hit on? yea not to thrilling, but…yea. i might have made a friend, not sure if he found that (if he was thinking i was cute) after he talked to me and realized i’m kinda an annoying person. if thats true, than i haven’t made any friends yet. taking it slow, but my mom and sister seem to think something is majorly wrong cause when i was younger i could go up and talk to people and know everything about them:P people like talking about themselves, its a well known fact. so if you aren’t too selfish and want to make friends. people will talk if you jst ask. this is definitely going to be a new experience, but its one that i’m excited to take on. i got my school id yesterday so i am officially a pirate:) aaannnnd i rather like my id picture. you know how people don’t usually like them? oh and just for the sake of adding it. the cafeteria is about my least favorite place on the campus. i prefer it outside. its super humid and yesterday it smelled like sea water and i wanted to throw up everywhere!!! lol and just to humor alex. i would like to thank that tree very much for letting me read under it for those few hours while i was waiting for morgan to get out of class:)
k well its time for youth group. i’ll try and be more persistent with these, we’ll see how that goes:P

[EDIT] so obviousely, i wrote this out a few days ago and didn't get a chance to post it, but i thought i would put it up anyways so you can see inside my head from a few days ago:)
love you both

Sooo... Wow.  A big week behind me and another in front of me.  As you girls know, I am up in Tehachapi at my Oldest sisters' house. It was in Gods providence that we were up here this week, the same week that it was discovered that my youngest nephew, Joshua, has Botchulism.  Though we almost lost him, he is know stable and on recovery in L.A. Childrens' Hospital.  I have been watching the other 5 kids here at the house. Its a chore but a blessing to be able to be a help to all those traveling back and forth to LA and an opportunity to get to know my nephews and nieces better, which takes a lot of patience but it pays off.

I love to build with blocks and train tracks!!!  That may sound quite a change of topic but I have had the opportunity to play with them this last week and have had a blast.  I took some pictures of building projects that I have under gone so far.

So I have had a lot of fun even though it is hard to keep every one entertained and happy.
I love you so much girls and I am sorry that you couldn't get in contact with me over the last week.
Keep praying for us :)

God bless you

Its been a long time since I posted...

I'm home from Notre Dame! Let me just say that it was absolutely the most amazing trip of my life! I have so much to say about it, that I can't say it all on here, because the amount of typing would take HOURS!

So I'll say that Chicago was super fun, but Notre Dame was WAY better! I have some stories to tell, and lots of memories to look back on. I can't wait to go back next year...I'm dying to go back next year!

We stayed 3 nights in Chicago, before heading to Notre Dame on Monday morning. Friday, we left and stayed in Chicago that night, and came home to Cali on Saturday evening.

Chhicago was fun! Lots of walking, and sight-seeing, a ten mile bike ride, watching fireworks over the water, eating good food, and the big one: I stayed up 41 hours without sleep; most of Thursay, all of Friday, and the first little while of Saturday. We stated at the Hyatt which was super nice, and went shopping, and walking around, and talking. Chicago was fun.

Notre Dame was even better, but I'd rather talk about that then type about it. It was great. I bought stuff. I loved my small group, and my roommate (who was in my small group). The talks ranged from good to phenomenal, and the people were all really cool. The cafeteria had a wide variety of food, especially for a college. The stuff was over-priced but I bought some things anyways. I was so sleep-deprived, but so happy that it didn't matter. I'm still tired, and I didn't even get out of bed until almost 2:30 this afternoon.

Anyways, here's a picture of our group just before the Scavenger Hunt:

I love you! I'll tell you more over the phone or in person:)

lots of love!!

So here are the pictures of our Shopping Day !!!!

Sounds awesome!!

Wow Christin, sound like you had a lot of fun!! Thats so cool that you got to spend time with your sister and your cousins!  And miss Morgan... You must also be having a blast over in Chicago!
So I know that Morgan can't come but I am really hoping that Christin can come to Angela's wedding shower...
Will you be able to come??  I really hope so!!!

I have edited the pictures from our shopping day with the Risvolds but this main computer will not allow me to post the pictures. It is so frustrating. It does this weird thing and it looks like it is downloading but when I say attach... or something like that... It freezes. I can exit out of that box just fine and nothing else freezes It just refuses to let them get into my post.  Anyway.... I will stop ranting now... I will email them to myself and download them from the other computer.

I love you both so incredable much

God bless you

Finished painting the bathroom and anticipating the Kellers visit.

So I love the improvements in our bathroom!!!  What once was deep red is now light green. I really like it. I haven't taken any pictures of it... it is not often that you take pics of bathrooms just cause...but when I do I will hopefully remember to post it. Better still... why don't you two just come and see it. sounds like a good plan even if it doesn't sound like a reality any time soon.   But seriously you guys need to come up and we need to spend a day at the beach.
We also painted the hall way and all the doors and molding... whewww.   Big Job but so glad that we did it cause it looks great.
The Kellers are coming up tomorrow for the 4th of July!  I am so excited about seeing them!!!!  It feels like... well... FINALLY!!!!  We may be going to the beach on Sunday (tomorrow) and I will most likely be taking a lot of pictures so you count on my posting them.
SO with all our painting done (and believe me ... there was a lot) we can move on to our next summer project ... which would be scrap-booking.  I ordered a lot of pictures so I should be kept busy though I don't really intend to scrap-book them all in one week. It already takes me all day and more to just scrap-book one event and I ordered more than 8 different events.
Mom is really in to keeping busy this summer. Which isn't a bad thing ... on the contrary it is a mighty good thing but it does make a person feel mighty busy.  ;)   She hopes to be getting over to the mission garden to help out with weed control. It kinda is a community effort in which parishioners kinda off adopt a box and take care of it. Visiting some convalescent hospitals is also on the list.  All these things and don't forget everything to do with Angela's wedding.

So I really must go considering that it is now not Saturday and that the kellers will be coming today instead of tomorrow now that it is passed midnight.

God bless you abundantly.
With all my love and Prayers

Back from Jenna's

So Yesterday for the first time I went to a wedding that wasn't a catholic wedding. I went with Jenna.  It was great to just hang out with her. After we got to her house after the wedding we played Dance It on the wii... very fun and great exercise.  We watched an episode of the Andy Griffith and then went to bed. Jenna had to get up and go to work early. I went to mass with her mom, met mom there, we went to Lows to get more paint to finish painting and now I am home.

Well.... I should probably go and get things rolling.... like picking up my room, cleaning the kitchen and stuff... don't forget the painting.... wooooooosh.

A trip to town.

With white paint in my hair from painting the bathroom and food in my stomach (and my teeth... better go brush)  and thoughts of shoes on my feet ( I will probably be wearing flip flops) We are getting ready to head off to town... but which town?

  Home sweet home.  PORTERVILLE!!!!

Summer keeps moving along. We have primed the bathroom once and will have to do it again. And James has primed the small wall in the Dinning room, the wall of the island between the kitchen and the dinning room. We will continue to paint on Saturday and the coming next week.

Sooo.... I hope that you have a good water polo practice, Zephyr. I will be seeing you this Afternoon girls!!!!
I thought that this was kinda cool. Check it out. http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20110622/od_yblog_upshot/two-by-two-a-real-life-noahs-ark

Summer taking shape

Some might say that my summer may have already adopted a permanent shape with my two week trip to Texas and back with a beautiful bonus of a few days in Porterville to top it all it off.  But come on!!!
Today is the 21st... First day of Summer!  I am just getting rolling.
I have told some people already that I tend to play my summers by ear. That was before I came
home.
Mom has plans to repaint, which is a big job, both the main bathroom, the entry way and hallway. We just ordered a bunch of pictures so that we can Scrap-book this summer.  Looking at the amount of pictures that I ordered, I will be kept busy with scrap-booking if I stay on top of it.
In July, we have the 4th, for which we usually do something exciting with family or friends, meaning we may leave town. Christopher and Christin are coming to visit for a week.  We are meeting Sang Te's family in Tehachapi and on top of being up in Tehachapi for that, I would like to spend time with the Keller family just for fun for about a week. Now that's all in July, and Don't forget about the scrap-booking and the painting that may not be finished by the end of June... it won't be.  So... That's what's on the calender so far, all of the empty squares are still tilted "spontaneous".

With all love and prayers

In arizona on the way home.

Hey girls!!!!  whats up??

So guess what... I am in Flagstaff Arizona and will be home tomorrow hopefully in time to be dropped off at youth group.  They say that we should make it home in no problem, and I want to believe them but having travled with them now for awhile... I think that it is a great possiblity that I will be dissapointed in not reaching home by tomorrow night.  anyways... Gods will be done in all things.
I had a wonderful time in Prayer Town, Texas but now I am ready to be out of the car with friends.   Soon enough.. soon enough.
I love you both so much !!!!!!!!!!  Ohh... I really do love you, I think that you both know that, but I wanted to remind because... I didn't get any popstcards ...none. I love you... don't be tempted to think other wise.

I am very tiered... got to go.

Okay guys... I have waited for ever and still you say nothing.

I was waiting for at least a "lol" or " I didn't think that was very funny" or even a change of topic. But nothing????  come on.....
Anyways... since you girls haven't found anything to say, I also will refrain from commenting on anything but the weather and lack of blog posts.

It is night right now... sky is clear... chilling breeze... forecast for tomorrow... Sunny.
Oh my... what is this... no posts?  I am .. not shocked, but dissatisfied with the lack of responce.

I shall be logging off.

God bless all those who do not post and may he give them the grace to break their bad habits.

I HAD TO TELL YOU!!!

My little sister has.. or had a problem with eating her mucus... I know I know.. Gross... Why would I be tell you this?? About three weeks ago the opportunity came up for me to shed some light for her on to this dreadful habit that she couldn't seem to shake. For some reason She felt the need to tell me that she had picked her nose and the "stuff" had been black and she didn't want to eat that stuff so she put in the trash. After showing my disgust at her description, I congratulated her on not eating it... her reply "who would eat that stuff" I then launched into giving her a very exaggerated talk about why NOT to eat that stuff whatever color it man be. All about the worms that are under your fingernails and how people who bite their nails get stomach worms because of it and how it is even worse when you pick your nose because then you get in your nose and in your mouth and the "stuff" is sticky so... anyways... all about how your body is obviously trying to get rid of the stuff and instead of putting the poisonous material back in you should do your self a favor .. so on and so forth.. . I will skip the details. That was about three weeks ago.

My little sister just came up and whispered in my ear "I haven't eaten my mucous since that talk you gave me"

I can know die in peace. If I died tomorrow I would know that my life had not been in vain. My life has been given purpose through this little incident of a great Victory. One child eating mucous monster eliminated.... I have no idea how many more to go and believe me... I don't want to.
The child in my household has defied mr. mucus and know all that I have to worry about is that it doesn't end up on the walls next to her bed.
God bless you all
